Is at home microdermabrasion safe?

At-home microdermabrasion is a safe procedure for even those with sensitive skin. However, it is important to use professional-grade heads, follow treatment instruction, and alternate suction based on comfort. Note, using a microdermabrasion device is gentler on sensitive skin than chemical or manual microdermabrasion.

Is microdermabrasion the same as exfoliating?

A personal microdermabrasion wand uses medical-grade, diamond-encrusted heads to expertly unclog and suction away dead skin cells and debris. Microdermabrasion is different than standard exfoliation because it removes inflammation-causing bacteria deep within the pores and impurities underneath the dermis as opposed to just exfoliating the surface of the skin. Microdermabrasion is also less abrasive on the skin than manual or chemical exfoliation.

Is it bad to use microdermabrasion everyday?
